May have underwatered leading to the situation. One water per month, way too little.

    I don’t see that coming back, but obviously it needs more water than once a month in that small container. Maybe the plant gods will show mercy.

    As long as the rhizome is firm there’s a chance! Also check roots for rot, they should also be kinda firm even though they are thin and delicate, if they are mushy at all then they are rotted and the likelyhood of saving is low
